Measuring the foundation
This is a sample research entry — a working note published to demonstrate the format, not a finished piece of research. It contains questions, not findings.
If health is the foundation, an organization built on that claim needs some way of knowing whether the foundation is getting stronger. This note collects the questions such a measurement approach would have to answer — it does not answer them.
Questions a serious approach must face
- Physical, mental and social well-being move on different timescales. What does progress even look like across all three at once?
- Self-reported flourishing and observable health diverge. Which do you trust when they disagree?
- Measurement changes behavior. How do you watch the foundation without turning the watching into another anxious game?
Why publish questions
Publishing the open questions first is deliberate. It sets a standard for what real research entries here will owe readers: stated uncertainty, before stated conclusions.
