Eshkere is built around one idea: Maximize Health, Play Games. Health — physical, mental and social well-being — is the non-optional foundation of human flourishing. Games are everything people can choose to pursue on top of that foundation: enjoyment, achievement, identity, exploration, creativity, relationships, knowledge, meaning and play.
What kind of organization that idea deserves is exactly what is being explored. Eshkere might become a company, a fund, a studio, a research group, a community — or some combination that doesn't have a clean name yet. The exploration is happening in public, which is why this site exists before the answers do.
What exists today
- The thesis, developed in Our Approach.
- A visual identity and this website — built as a serious institutional prototype.
- A commitment to honesty about stage: no invented staff, partners, funding, portfolio or history anywhere on this site.
What does not exist yet
A funded portfolio, formal partnerships, offices, a publication record, anyone on theteam beyond its founder. Where those things would appear, you will find deliberate empty states instead — each one a placeholder for something real, not a performance of maturity.
Why the name sounds like that
“Eshkere” carries the energy of the games layer — an exclamation, a let's-go. The visual language of the brand borrows from video games and hyperpop on purpose: play is allowed to look joyful. The seriousness lives underneath, in the health-first ordering the whole project stands on.
