Malmö Lund AI Safety is a local community for people who want a serious, grounded conversation about advanced AI: how it may affect society, science, labor, institutions, power, security, and human wellbeing, plus what can be done to steer development in safer and more beneficial directions.
The group is open to students, researchers, engineers, founders, policy-curious people, writers, and anyone in southern Sweden who wants something more thoughtful than either hype or doomposting.
Events
We host local meetups in Malmö, Lund, and nearby. The aim is simple: discuss AI safety, meet thoughtful people in the region, and build a serious community in Skåne.
Version one stays simple on purpose. Events live on the platforms that already handle them well.

Organized by Vadym Sulzhenko, a student and community builder interested in AI safety, alignment, governance, and the long-term impacts of advanced AI.
This community started as an attempt to create a local home for thoughtful discussion and field-building in southern Sweden.
